Boston Public Library (Fine Arts) copy rebound in volumes 1-3, while volume 4 retains its original binding. Volumes 1-3 bound in purple-gray cloth over boards, with spine title, decorative bars, and volume numeration stamped in gilt along spine. Volume 4 bound in leather over boards with marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves. Front and back covers include gilt decorative devices, in the form of a grapevine, along head-, tail-, fore-, and spine-edge. Spine includes gilt bars and decorative devices, and three black leather panels with the spine title and volume numeration in gilt. Front pastedown of volumes 1-3 include ex libris (book plate) of the Boston Public Library, while volume 4 includes an older ex libris of the Boston Public Library which identifies the copy as purchased with "the income of the Scholfield bequests." All four volumes include a perforated stamp on the title page of the Public Library of the City of Boston. Each plate includes the stamp, in red ink, of the Boston Public Library
